These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and LITS — Love In The Sky (“LITS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your use of luvintheskys.com, its installed website experience, LITS accounts, connected mobile-app features, memberships and related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, selecting “Create account,” accessing a connected feature, or continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. LITS is intended for aviation professionals. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your age and your aviation affiliation. We may request evidence of eligibility and may deny or end access when eligibility cannot be confirmed.
LITS is an independent service. It is not sponsored, endorsed or operated by any airline, airport, union, employer or app marketplace unless a specific relationship is stated in writing.
You are responsible for your account, credentials and activity. Use a unique password, keep it confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You may not share, sell, transfer, automate or create an account for another person without written permission.
Website and mobile-app accounts may be separate. If you choose to connect them, you authorize LITS to exchange the profile, membership and verification information needed to provide connected features. Disconnecting accounts does not cancel a mobile-app subscription or delete either account.
Creating an account, selecting an airline or purchasing a plan does not verify employment. Verification may use an airline email, submitted work credential, eligible employee vouch, or another method we approve. We may reject unclear, expired, altered or inconsistent evidence.
A verified badge means only that the stated verification process was completed at the time of review. It is not a criminal background check, safety guarantee, professional license, current-employment guarantee, character reference, or airline endorsement. Unless we expressly state otherwise, LITS does not conduct background checks or independently verify every statement a member makes.
Unverified members may browse profiles but cannot send or receive likes, matches, messages, calendar shares, layover alerts or event interactions. Access begins only after approval and may be removed if verification expires or is revoked.
Layover schedules and alerts are private. Only matched members who have both added each other to their private layover lists may receive them. You may not copy, publish, sell, scrape, track, disclose or misuse another person’s schedule, location, base, travel or alert information.

You are responsible for your interactions and for deciding whether, when and where to meet. Use reasonable precautions, meet in public, control your transportation, tell someone you trust and contact local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant LITS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve and promote the Service according to your settings. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained in backups, legal records, moderation evidence or content shared with others who have not deleted it.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content and that it does not violate law or another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property or other rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or creates risk.
The website account is free. Paid mobile-app plans, current prices, billing periods, auto-renewal terms, taxes, cancellation and refund eligibility are shown at purchase and controlled by the applicable app marketplace or payment provider. Unless the purchase screen says otherwise, cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting or disconnecting a website account does not cancel a paid app subscription.
Features may vary by platform, location, plan, verification status and availability. Promotional or complimentary access may expire and does not represent a paid sale. We may change plan features prospectively, with notice when required.
The Service, LITS name and marks, software, design, text, graphics and other materials supplied by us are owned by or licensed to LITS and protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. See our IP Infringement Policy to report content that violates your rights.
The Service may link to app stores, payment providers, social platforms or other third parties. Their services, content, availability, security and terms are controlled by them. LITS is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or omissions.
You may stop using LITS at any time and may delete your website account from the member area, subject to the account-separation rules above. We may investigate, restrict, suspend or terminate an account or content when we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, eligibility or safety is at issue, payment access ended, law requires action, or continued access creates risk. We may preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful requests.
We may add, remove, pause or modify features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular match, response, result, relationship, event, employment outcome, verification outcome or member conduct. Information provided through LITS is for general use and is not legal, medical, employment, security or travel advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” LITS disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LITS and its operators, affiliates, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunities, or conduct of another member or third party. Our total liability for a claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid LITS for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold LITS and its operators harmless from claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, unlawful conduct, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms or another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by LITS.
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the LITS operator and your use of the Service, without overriding non-waivable rights or protections in your place of residence. A court with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute. No part of these Terms prevents either side from seeking urgent relief or using a consumer-protection process available by law.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our permission; we may assign them as part of an ownership, financing or service transition. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and policies incorporated by reference form the agreement for the Service.
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to info@blackrocketdigital.com.
